Heather Shields

About the Show/Event

Heather Shields is a multidisciplinary artist whose work as an actor, award-winning dancer, and painter spans theatre, film, and television. She has her M.A. in Depth Psychology with Specialization in Jungian Analysis and Archetypal Studies. Inspired by Carl Jung, many of her paintings are visceral expressions of the unconscious and her inner world. A selection of her pieces can be seen in Latinas Acting Up’s upcoming short, “La Luz.” She also conducts theoretical research in psychology and enjoys playing poker.

Heather is sharing her work in the Gallery on Thursday, August 20th from 4pm till 9pm. Gallery Hour with the artist is from 4-5pm, and the rest of the evening is open to the public. Tickets are pay what you can for various time slots. Heather will be donating 75% of the earnings to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
